Why Nothing Seems to Go Right
There is a particular kind of despair in a run of bad luck: not one disaster, but a hundred small doors closing, one after another, until you begin to wonder whether something is working against you.
People search, quietly and often at night, for why nothing seems to go right. The job that fell through at the last moment. The money that never quite arrives. The relationship that ended just as it began to matter. Alone, each is ordinary. But when they come all at once, and keep coming, the mind starts asking a deeper question — and it is a fair one.
When it really is just life
I will start where an honest man should: sometimes a hard run is only a hard run. Life moves in seasons, and some are long and grey. Not every closed door is a blockage, and I would never take a person's money by telling them it was. If your situation calls for rest, for a plan, or for a doctor, that is what I will tell you.
And when it is something more
But in the tradition I was raised in, we also recognise something the modern world has no word for: a blockage. A weight that settles over a person's path — often carried by envy, by ill will, by a bond left broken — so that effort no longer returns what it should. You work twice as hard for half the result. You feel it before you can explain it: that you are pushing against something unseen.
The clearest sign is not one piece of bad luck. It is the pattern — the sense that no matter what you do, the same invisible wall is always there.
How to tell the difference
- How long has it lasted? A bad month is life. A bad two years, in every area at once, is worth looking at.
- Did it start suddenly? A run of misfortune that began sharply — after an event, a falling-out, a change in fortune others noticed — deserves attention.
- Does effort no longer work? When the things that used to move your life forward simply stop working, something may be standing in the way.
What can be done
Where there is a blockage, the traditional work is about lifting it — clearing what has settled on your path and protecting you so it does not return — and about opening the way again. People describe the change less as sudden fortune and more as flow returning: effort starts to pay again, doors that were stuck begin to give.
What it is not is a promise of wealth or a life without struggle, and I would be wary of anyone who sells you that. It clears what can be cleared. I look at your case, tell you honestly what I see, and only then do we begin.
