Unlucky in Love, or Is Something Blocking You?

Everyone around you seems to find love. It reaches them easily, almost carelessly. You try harder, you give more, you wait, and still it passes you by. At some point the question stops being "when?" and becomes "why me?"

In 27 years I have heard that question in every language, from people who had nothing wrong with them at all. Kind, warm, attractive people who could not understand why love kept slipping through their fingers. Some were simply going through a hard season. Others were carrying something heavier, a blockage they could feel but could not name. Learning to tell the two apart is the first honest step.

What ordinary bad luck really looks like

Not every empty stretch is a blockage. Sometimes life is simply out of season. You moved cities, you were healing from a loss, you were pouring yourself into work or family, the right person was there but the timing was not. This kind of unluckiness has a shape you can trace: it has reasons, it comes and goes, and when your circumstances shift, love finds its way back in. It feels like a closed door, not a locked one.

What a spiritual block feels like

A genuine spiritual block feels different, and most people who carry one already sense it before anyone tells them. It is not the absence of chances, it is the strange way every chance dissolves. The connection that starts warm and cools for no reason. The person who pulls away just as things grow real. The heaviness that settles over you the moment love comes close, as if some part of you were being held back by a hand you cannot see.

Bad luck is a door that stays closed. A block is a door that opens, lets you glimpse the room, and shuts before you can step through, again and again, until you stop trying.

How to tell the difference

You do not need to guess. The pattern usually tells the truth if you look at it honestly rather than through hope or fear. Ask yourself, plainly, which of these you recognise:

• Repetition without reason. The same ending arrives with very different people, the sudden distance, the cooling, the vanishing, and no ordinary explanation fits all of them.
• A heaviness you carry into every start. Something tightens in you when love gets close, a fatigue or dread that does not match the moment.
• Doors that open and slam. Interest flares, plans are made, and then it collapses at the last step, over and over, as if on cue.
• A sense of being watched or weighed down. Many people describe an unease they cannot explain, often since a particular time, a particular person, or a particular loss.

One or two of these may just be a rough patch. When several sit together, year after year, something more than luck is usually at work.

What a cleansing or ritual can address

The traditional work I inherited does not sell you a fairy tale. It acts on what is holding the situation in place, the heaviness, the residue of an old attachment, the energy sent your way in envy or spite, the pattern that keeps pulling love away just as it forms.
